Popstarz is a Hip Hop training program that offers classes throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Workshops range from begininer to professional levels of difficulty, for ages 5 to adult. Pop Starz also consists of a production company, through which dancers gain the opportunity to perfomr for numerous artists.

The Group's creator, Michelle Tucker, was inspired to launch the program when daughter Montana, expressed interest in pursuing a career in music.

"Montana did modeling and we were always asked if she couls also dance and sing. After placing her in Darrin's Dance Groove classes, everyone said she had potential and that we should either head out to New York or Los Angeles. I told everyone, "I'm a Floridian and i refuse to laeve so i started the Pop Starz company."

The program began 5 years ago, in hopes of showcasing the amazing talent that resides in South Florida. Since it's inception, Pop Starz has been credited with bringing some of the best chreographers to teach Floridiabs.

"The problem is we have great dancers here in Florida but no famous choreographers. All the choreographers are either in LA or NY. It's important to foster an environment where the work of Florida choreographers can be seen, so that they can continue advancing in there careers," comments Michelle.

Michelle envisions the Pop Starz Kidz/Pop Starz teens become a full fledged performing arts center. "I want to provide a place where arets can trust their kids will develope acting, modeling, dance and voice skills. We also encourage the kids to stay focased on their school work," adds Michelle.

Efforts are already underwy to establish a notable dance talent agency for Floridians. Pop Starz will play a vital role in developing dance opportunities in the area. "We have interest in operating nationally, especially in Orlando, ATL and NY.

" Pop Starz company dancers have worked with: Sean Paul, Pitbull, Ashanti, Remy Ma, B2K, NSync, Bow Wow, Romeo, Nick Cannon.

Under the Artistic Direction of Brice Vick, Pop Starz dancers have also learned top of the line moves from renowned choreographers Marty Kudelka, Wade Robson, Shane Sparks, Darrnin Henson and many others.
